As you can see, this Dutch oven has a different shape than the other Dutch ovens from our Valhal Outdoor range. This Dutch oven has an oval shape and does not have legs at the bottom of the pan. With its oval shape and capacity of nine liters, the Dutch oven is extremely suitable for preparing duck or baking fresh bread. Of course you can use this pan just like the other Dutch ovens as a frying pan, soup pan, casserole, grill pan or oven.

Because of the special shape of this Dutch oven you can also place the pan in the wood stove. You do not have to worry that the bottom of your oven will be damaged. Because the lid has a raised edge, you can easily place pieces of charcoal on it. In this way the oven is heated from all sides and the bread or duck in the pan will cook nicely evenly.
