Carbosi Spanish ECO Charcoal Eucalyptus, Walnut & Oak 10 kg
Charcoal is offered in various types. A good charcoal contains a rough selection of obsolescent pieces. Because of this, the charcoal burns constantly and sufficient oxygen can come between the pieces, so that all the pieces can ignite.
A good charcoal is not mixed, but consists of one type of wood. This is also important to keep the temperature constant. If you have a kamado such as a Big Green Egg or a Bastard, then charcoal is the perfect fuel. Charcoal is capable of burning with very little oxygen and at the same time it is capable of getting horribly hot.
Briquettes require a minimum amount of oxygen and often go out prematurely when used in a kamado.
