Food-safe conditioner for the burning in and maintenance of cast iron products.
All cast iron products must be fired before use. (With the exception of the enamelled pans.) After use, the pans are cleaned and must be re-applied with a THIN layer of fat.
The pans can be fired and maintained according to the supplied instructions. Make sure you coat the cast iron products with a thin layer so that it does not stick. After the pans have been fired, they will be a lot darker in color and they will have a protective layer against rust.
Contrary to burning with sunflower oil or peanut oil, for example, the product does not feel greasy after burning.
