When you place the ingredients on the outside of your grid with indirect cooking, they get more direct heat. this is due to the openings on the sides of the convEGGtor. with the new form of the convEGGtor these openings are smaller and ensure that you can cook evenly on a larger surface!

The ceramic convEGGtor is a heat shield that ensures that the food does not come into direct contact with the heat source.

Because the heat is indirect, the effect of an oven is created. This is an ideal preparation method for all 'oven' dishes, the yarn of delicate ingredients, low-temperature yarn and when using the Dutch Oven. The convEGGtor can be combined with the Flat Baking Stone on which you bake the best bread and pizzas with an authentic crispy base.
