Traditionally Finnish prepared salmon is a rustic and popular way to prepare tasty salmon by the fire. Our smoking boards are made from solid Norwegian birch. With the help of the stainless steel herringbone (cut in one piece, dishwasher safe) the fish can easily be mounted on the birch plate to be prepared by the fire in the traditional Finnish way. The supplied holder is simply placed on the edge of the grill or fire bowl. The prepared smoking board is then pushed into the holder and fixed in the desired angle. The fish is then exposed on the plate to the heat of the fire. It takes about 45-60 minutes for the fish to boil.
